As we begin this journey, we have figured one thing out. One of the major factors which influences our decisions to buy the bottle is the label. We have also figured out that this means we're going to spend some money on mistakes. However, we are collecting some cool labels in our label log. What we have found out is that there are two distinctly different pallets. And, they're not what you would've thought.
The wine drinker in the family prefers wines that are stronger and have a bite. The whiskey drinker perfers wines with lighter bite, that are brighter and has less of an alcohol taste...go figure. But, both of us agree that we have yet to get the wine-to-food match right. We are still accidental matchers.
